Weblets are tiny web apps, written in Python and running on the Google App Engine. They don't require installing an editor or plugins - you can create, edit and run Weblets using only a web browser.
For people new to programming, Weblets help learn about Python and web programming by providing a simple, safe and free way to experiment. For more experienced developers, Weblets provide a way to instantly get short mini-apps online, using only a browser.
Each weblet gets its own address, for example http://qkhack.appspot.com/helloworld. You can see the source code and documentation for any weblet, and edit it if you're its creator, but simply prepending /_source to its path - for example, http://qkhack.appspot.com/_source/helloworld
Anyone can view any weblet, but at the moment only authorized users can create them. To be added to the authorized users list, email niryariv@gmail.com
